چکیده

Background: Treatment of Acute Acromioclavicular joint injuries is controversial with varieties treatment modalities. Newer methods are expensive requiring additional cost and advance devices assistance. This technique demonstrates a very cost-effective (less than USD 25) method fixing suitable for developing nations. Methods: From Year 2021 to 2023 we have performed 14 cases (aged 35-65 years) good results new surgical that utilizes 3- 4-hole mini stainless-steel plates no. 5 polyester suture, anatomic landmarks drilling based on study by Nai-Feng Zhu et al. (2015), secure fixation at joint. Only 2mm drill holes were used avoid suture creep. No arthroscopy assisted device, titanium endo-buttons, tension-band, special hardware used. All patients counselled strict post-op rehabilitation protocol 3 months before full range motion activities allowed.Result: provided coracoclavicular joints as well acromioclavicular portals minimum creep. Conclusion: Our represents an anatomical, cost-effective, reproducible way treating acute AC separations especially focusing countries.

Coracoclavicular Ligament Reconstruction

Operative intervention is recommended for complete acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocation to restore AC stability, but the best operative technique is still controversial. Twelve fresh-frozen male cadaveric shoulders (average age, 62.8 7.8 years) were equally divided into endobutton versus the modified Weaver-Dunn groups. Each potted scapula and clavicle was fixed in a custom made jig to allo...

Coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction using a semitendinosus graft for failed acromioclavicular separation surgery.

Although acromioclavicular joint separations are fairly common, the occurrence of high-grade acromioclavicular separations that require surgery is low. Various modifications of the Weaver-Dunn procedure have been popular and fairly successful methods to treat severe acromioclavicular separations, despite the fact that reconstructions have been done a number of ways. We report on the results of ...

Coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction using a gracilis tendon graft for acute type-III acromioclavicular dislocation.

PURPOSE To review the functional and radiological results of patients after coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction. METHODS Five patients aged 21 to 50 (mean, 37) years with acute Rockwood type-III acromioclavicular dislocation underwent coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction with autogenous gracilis tendon grafts. Patients were either active in sports or heavy manual workers. Assessments...

Surgical technique affects outcomes in acromioclavicular reconstruction.

Optimal treatment for acromioclavicular (AC) dislocation is unknown. Numerous surgical procedures for AC injuries have been described with little comparison. This study sought to compare the clinical and radiographic results of various surgical techniques in order to identify the optimal surgical technique. Ninety patients met inclusion criteria of AC reconstruction at this institution. A retro...
